Held in Downtown Whiting, Pierogi Fest provides an annual opportunity for people to return to their roots, celebrate their heritage, and have a lot of fun. This incredible event draws more than 300,000 people from across the world. There will be live entertainment, craft vendors, and dozens of food vendors serving up a variety of pierogi and tasty eats to enjoy. Plus, where else can you see grown women dressed up like our grandmothers (Bucias, as we say) and others dressed as life-size Polish pastries? Fee includes transportation only.
